Where Did BiHapi Studio Come From?

Neon sign that says hello.

BiHapi Studio was born out of a place of desperate want.

I needed a way to combat my depression symptoms that mercilessly sought to deprive me of happiness, or worse, make me feel like I don't deserve happiness at all.

Have you ever felt that way?

I've struggled with being happy for most of my life, which is why I chose BiHapi as the name of my business.

It's more like a journey of reaching my primary goal, to "Be Happy".

To be happy with who I am as a person and to know that I am imperfect. I should strive to be better as a wife, sister, daughter, and friend to those that know and love me.

I want you to be happy with who you are and where you are in your journey. I know it is easier said than done, which is why our journey requires help from others and lots of patience.

You're not alone.

I have a gift for you.

She has many other use besides making your room look pretty.

My throw pillows are handmade. I dye them by hand using natural dyes and I use eco-friendly hemp that is strong and amazingly soft on the skin.

I don't use abrasive chemicals. Ever.

They can accompany you while you're reading, watching TV, snuggling, catching your tears, and holding your laughter.

They even have their own names and would love to be a comfort companion to you.

Ella is my mascot, a sort of caricature of me. She is bipolar and her friends share how to cope with their symptoms. She even has her own Instagram, @ellathebipolarthrowpillow.

This website is a place where you can learn about the dyes I use, where you can create and design using ingredients found in your house and your backyard as well as how Ella and her friends can help you day to day.

It is meant to be a safe place to share your wins and challenges and how we can solve them together.

My tagline, “You deserve happiness”, is not just any tagline.

I truly am striving to change my mindset and to rid myself of the toxic belief that I don't deserve to be happy or that I don't deserve anything good in my life.

Friend, you've probably carried this same toxicity throughout your life too and I'm here to tell you:

You Deserve Happiness.

Welcome to my studio. ❤️
